Hadrat Anas (Radiallahu 'Anhu) narrated that the Holy Prophet (Salllahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam) said, "When some people assemble with the sole purpose of Remembrance of Allah, an angel proclaims from the heaven that they have been forgiven and their evils had been converted into virtues." In another Hadith it has been added that in contradiction, the gathering in which Allah is not remembered, shall be a source of regret and grief (to the participants of the gathering) on the Day of Judgement.
